Smartphone layout changes

Hello Intrexx Community,

I'm working on smartphone layout and making changes accordingly but I cannot view the changes made in CSS. Is there any in-built simulator which I can use to view my changes simultaneously as we have in android studios for android development? I have not connected any smartphone with the portal as we are working on local systems before making any changes in the production environment. Any suggestions on how can I view my changes. I'm using Intrexx 18.03.

Hello,

you can use Google Chrome development tools (F12). There you can choose a device size for showing your intrexx site in smartphone layout.

nmayer Thanks for your reply. But if I'm making changes on smartphone layout how can I view changes using Google tools. Using Google tools, I can set the size for my desktop layout but I want to view the changes of my smartphone layout.

one question: Are you working with a responsiv design or an extra smartphone layout?

In the first case: Do you've already set the viewport in your portal? -> https://community.intrexx.com/filedata/fetch?id=521
Simply slide the browser window together on desktop and you'll get your mobile view.

In the second case: Just set the layout name of the mobile layout into the url, like http://event4teams.de/?rq_Layout=MyMobileDesignName

nmayer The name of my mobile layout is "Smartphone". When I try to use the link "http://event4teams.de/?rq_Layout=Smartphone" it does not show me my layout. Should I open any port?

If you're working on the server or the pc, where the intrexx portal is installed, you can try it with http://localhost/?rq_Layout=Smartphone
